Aquafil at NeoCon 2019, an indoor showroom and a special outdoor involvement with ECONYL® yarn featuring the NeoCon Plaza flooring.

June 10 – 12, Chicago – NeoCon marks its 51st edition as the most important event of the year for the commercial design industry in the USA and Aquafil was one of over 500 leading companies that showcased new products, services, and ideas.

Aquafil’s showroom displayed the endless possibilities of ECONYL® regenerated yarn, from interior to fashion to automotive solutions with a focus on the sustainable carpets Aquafil is providing to some of the world highest-level fashion events such as the CFDA in New York and the Fashion Green Carpet Awards in Milan.
Some of the brands displayed in the showroom mirrors were: Interface, Milliken, Masland, Mannington and Delos as interior manufacturers; Adidas, Volcom, Karun, Alexander McQueen, H&M, Tretorn and Packsafe as fashion brands and BMW for the automotive sector; while indoor guests were welcomed by beautiful rugs coming from the carpet of the Fashion Green Carpet Awards 2017 and 2018 editions and a bespoke carpet made by Punto e Filo-Brasil.

This year Neocon special news, the NeoCon Plaza, an outdoor oasis within the city, also involved Aquafil and its ECONYL® regenerated nylon. The entire footprint of the area featured, in fact, carpets made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon. All the carpet tile has been designed and supplied by Interface.
