The Aquafil Carpet Collection and Recycling Center uses state-of-the-art equipment to fully disassemble the waste into its three main components: Nylon 6, Polypropylene and Calcium Carbonate. The Nylon 6 is regenerated into ECONYL® yarn, a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon with the same quality as nylon made from virgin materials. The recovered polypropylene is recycled into injection-molding production and calcium carbonate goes into road construction and concrete.
