A world without waste: German documentary with the ECONYL® Regeneration System

We would like to share this documentary that was broadcasted on ZDF German public television during the planet-e program. The documentary explores the possibility of a world without waste material where — thanks to the circular economy — waste is part of the supply chain and, as in our ECONYL® Regeneration Process, becomes raw material for new products.

The documentary features the story of the ECONYL® Regeneration System and the collaboration with Desso in which they supply part of the fluff (upper part of old carpets) that is regenerated into our products. There is also an extensive and interesting interview with Professor Michael Braungart, co-founder of the Cradle to Cradle initiative.

The team from ZDF came to our Slovenian plant some months ago to shoot part of this documentary, and we are very happy to see the results and share them here.

Enjoy!
