April Highlights: Aquafil at Techtextil and Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week
April will see Aquafil participating in key international events, from Techtextil in Frankfurt to the Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week, showcasing how circular materials are shaping the industries of tomorrow.
Techtextil: Redefining Circularity in Frankfurt
April 21–24, 2026
Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles, represents a key meeting point for industry, research and development. The event brings together companies, institutions and innovators from across sectors to exchange ideas and explore the future of advanced materials and textile technologies.
Aquafil will be present at Hall 9.1, Booth B51, presenting its approach to material circularity and its ongoing commitment to developing solutions that combine performance with responsible resource management.

Through its stand, Aquafil aims to encourage reflection on the lifecycle of materials and the role they can play in supporting more conscious production models.

Fuorisalone, Milan Design Week 2026
April 20–26, 2026
Milan will host the Fuorisalone, the city-wide program of installations and exhibitions that animate the city during Milan Design Week. The 2026 theme, “Essere Progetto,” invites designers and companies to reflect on design as an evolving process — not a finished form, but a continuous dialogue between people, materials and innovation.
Within this context, Aquafil will take part in the Fuorisalone through Tessilquattro, a company of the Aquafil Group, at Stecca 3.0, within an exhibition space curated by Materially. Here, the MAGRITTE project will be presented — an initiative developed in collaboration with the University of Trento, Indivenire, ProM Facility of Trentino Sviluppo and Caracol AM — focused on the development of high-performance materials for large-scale 3D printing.

At the core of the project is a material based on ECONYL® regenerated nylon, combined with a natural mineral filler, resulting in a solution that brings together technical performance, design and material circularity.

Aquafil will also be present at the EcoContract showroom, part of the Ecogroup, located in Palazzo Bocconi (Corso Venezia 48), where the ECONYL® Bespoke Collection will be showcased, featuring three yarns — Reseta Bright, Relana and Terra — alongside carpets by long-standing partner Ege, made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon.
During Fuorisalone, the collaboration with Sesia&Co. is also showcased, bringing together some of Italy’s most renowned brands– including Aquafil, Brembo, Boffi|DePadova, My Style Bags and DMD – within an initiative that places colour at the centre of different languages and sectors, from interior design to automotive, as well as fashion and lifestyle. In this context, a collection of rugs made with ECONYL® Bespoke yarns is also presented, developed across the 12 colours of the Sesia&Co. chromatic system, expressing the meeting between colour research and material innovation.
These events offer an opportunity to connect with partners, designers and industry professionals, and to explore new applications for circular materials across different sectors.
