Aquafil Events in May: Plastics Recycling Show Europe and Clerkenwell Design Week 2026
From Amsterdam to London, May will see Aquafil taking part in two European events that explore the evolving landscape of materials, from plastics recycling to commercial design, alongside its contribution to industry discussions on textile flooring at Flanders Flooring Days. These occasions offer opportunities to exchange perspectives on technologies, applications and material development.
Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2026
May 5–6, 2026
The Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE), organized by Crain Communications in collaboration with Plastics Recyclers Europe, represents one of the leading platforms in Europe dedicated to plastics recycling.
The event brings together key players across the entire value chain, from material design and recycling technologies to the collection, sorting and processing of plastic waste, through to the development of recycled polymers for new applications. Through its exhibition and conference programme, PRSE addresses the main opportunities and challenges shaping the plastics recycling industry.
Aquafil will be present at Stand n.N100 in Hall 2, showcasing its approach to polymer regeneration through chemical and mechanical recycling processes.
Building on its experience in material innovation, Aquafil will present its two recycled material solutions, Aquamid® R and ECONYL® regenerated nylon. The stand will illustrate the characteristics, technical features and potential of both materials, offering a clear overview of their respective strengths, performance and application areas.
Through this presence, Aquafil aims to contribute to a broader reflection on the role of different recycling technologies across a range of applications.
Clerkenwell Design Week: A Global Hub for Design
May 19–21, 2026
Clerkenwell Design Week returns to London’s EC1 district for its 15th edition, confirming its role as a key reference point for architects, designers and industry professionals from around the world.
Set across one of the most vibrant design districts globally, the festival represents a dynamic meeting point for interiors brands and creatives, offering a programme of exhibitions, installations and curated experiences throughout the area. Among the highlights of this edition is the Design Interventions initiative, featuring large-scale installations integrated within the urban context.
Within this framework, Aquafil will be present at Stand n.PA8 in the Commercial Design in the Park area, a space dedicated to contract furniture and surface design that brings together a selection of international brands.
During the event, Cristina Stefani, BCF Marketing of Circularity Projects, Aquafil Group, will deliver a talk on Wednesday, May 20, from 2 PM to 3 PM, titled “Circular pathways to certification: unlocking LEED, BREEAM, WELL and GENSLER with ECONYL® and R2R®.”
Through its participation, Aquafil contributes to the ongoing dialogue within the design community, exploring how materials can support evolving approaches to design, performance and application across different environments.

Flanders Flooring Days: Focus on Textile Flooring Circularity
May 18–21, 2026
Flanders Flooring Days brings together the global flooring community across the central exhibition at Kortrijk Xpo (Belgium), as well as in local showrooms and production facilities. This unique format creates a connection between inspiration, industry exchange and business opportunities, offering a comprehensive overview of the sector’s evolution.
Within this context, Aquafil will contribute to the seminar “Circular Carpets in Practice: Opportunities and Pathways”. On May 19, from 10:30 to 10:50, Cristina Stefani, BCF Marketing of Circularity Projects at Aquafil Group, will present “Circularity in textile flooring: Aquafil’s ACS case”, focusing on circularity in textile flooring.
Throughout the event, ECONYL® regenerated nylon will be included in a selection of carpet solutions showcased at partners’ stands. At Tapibel’s stand, visitors will also discover Triforma+, the company’s latest innovation in textile flooring.
May is another month of exchange and dialogue, creating space for connection. These events offer Aquafil the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, share perspectives and explore the evolving role of materials across sectors.
