AQUAFIL NOMINATED FOR NACHHALTIGKEITSPREIS

Aquafil, together with three other companies has been nominated in the category “Ressourceneffizienz” (resources efficiency) of the prestigious German Nachhaltigkeitspreis.
The jury recognized Aquafil‘s efforts towards sustainability across the entire supply chain, particularly the recovery of waste material to create regenerated Nylon 6 products through the ECONYL® Regeneration System.
The winner will be announced during the Gala Cerimony on November the 28 in Düsseldorf .
The award is sponsored by the German Federal Government, some local companies and NGOs and aims to promote social change through a more sustainable economy and lifestyle. This year, 550 companies and 65 municipalities participated to the competition, but only 14 companies have been selected as potential winners. The German Sustainability Award (GSA) is one of the most prestigious prizes of its kind in Europe. It was established in 2008 to encourage the acceptance of social and ecological responsibility and to identify role models in this area
