Aquafil partners score big at NeoCon 2016 with ECONYL® yarn
More than 40,000 participants descended upon the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL June 13-15 for NeoCon 2016. NeoCon is North America’s largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors and attracts architecture and design professionals from around the world. This show is so massive that Aquafil has a permanent showroom on the 11th floor, and our impressive yarn sculpture that spans the length and width of the showroom windows draws the attention of designers, architects and customers alike.
ECONYL® scored big at NeoCon when Mannington’s Divergent collection comprised of both LVT and modular carpet took the Gold Award for healthcare flooring. Divergent modular carpet is made with ECONYL® regenerated yarn, and the entire collection is inspired by the soothing tranquility of nature and designed for a tremendous variety of healthcare, retail, hospitality, and corporate applications. This line of carpet complements and completes the Divergent Collection of LVT, launched in April 2016. Divergent carpet is manufactured with ECONYL® 100% regenerated nylon for superior stain resistance and appearance retention.
But that’s not the only place ECONYL® scored at NeoCon. Interface’s World Woven™, a global collection of Skinny Planks™ and squares that is deeply influenced by the timeless familiarity of local textiles found around the world throughout history – from Japan to the UK, to the Americas to Australia, took home the Silver Award for Modular Carpet. World Woven is also made with ECONYL® 100% regenerated nylon.
