Aquafil with ECONYL® yarn at the Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt.

From January 9-12, 2018 Aquafil was present at the Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt.

Heimtextil is the largest international trade fair for interior and contract textiles, furniture and accessories and attracts thousands of people from the world of furniture and design: architects, retailers, designers, interior decorators, interior designers, as well as visual merchandisers. Aquafil was there in the heart of the show to meet the textile industry decision makers.

Aquafil was a partner and sponsor of CARPET, an important initiative created by the leading German and European carpet manufacturers — Balsan, Ege, Findeisen, GermanRugs, Object Carpet, Toucan-T and Vorwerk, just to name a few. The association of textile floor coverings companies illustrated the main advantages of carpet in a single stand for architects and decision makers: acoustics, modularity and design.

CARPET by Heimtex set up an open space where the carpets and innovations of the participating companies were presented in a spectacular mosaic of creativity on the foor, while at the center of the stand stood an entire wall dedicated to ECONYL® yarn and the world’s unique regeneration process of nylon, the Aquafil ECONYL® REGENERATION SYSTEM. Plexiglass boxes narrated the three steps of regeneration effectively and with great impact. In fact, samples of the elements of the process, from fishing nets to the polymer to the ECONYL® yarn, were displayed in the boxes for all to see.

The Frankfurt fair was a success with almost 3,000 exhibitors and 70,000 visitors.
