Governor Brian P. Kemp’s Visit to Aquafil Group: Committed to Innovation Since 1999
On Friday, July 26, we had the pleasure of hosting Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp, along with First Lady and his daughters, and other important authorities from the State of Georgia. Among the attendees were Commissioner Pat Wilson, Kristi Brigman, and Nico Wijnberg from the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Kristyn Long from the Office of Governor Kemp, and Ellen Kraft, Ulrike Schauerte, and André Thiele from Georgia’s Europe Office.
This meeting highlighted significant issues regarding current and future collaboration projects between the Aquafil Group and the United States.
A collaboration that began in 1999 with the Cartersville plant, a facility dedicated to the production of carpet fibers, strategically located in the heart of the American carpet manufacturing hub.
Over these 25 years, what started as a carpet fiber production plant has transformed into a cutting-edge facility that not only creates innovative products but also revolutionizes traditionally resource-intensive sectors. Our commitment to challenging the status quo worldwide is stronger than ever, demonstrating our role as a leader in the circular economy and confirm our commitment to a more responsible and conscious future.
