HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AQUAFIL ASIA PACIFIC

Aquafil Asia Pacific is a strategic milestone for the Aquafil globalization process. The very first step in Asia began with a small team from Arco who went to Thailand – “The land of Smile”- and found a young, energetic, and extremely friendly team eager to learn about BCF yarn.

On June 16th 2017, we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Aquafil Asia Pacific. A very sunny day welcomed representatives of Aquafil Europe and China to our plant in Rayong.

The celebration was organized according to Thai tradition. Therefore, nine monks were invited to come for the blessing, and Mr. Giulio Bonazzi provided a donation and served lunch to the head monk.

Next, Mr. Bonazzi cut the ribbon to open the party and made a speech. The beautiful Thai Classical dancing show followed, and then Mr. Bonazzi presented gifts as a token of appreciation to four Aquafil employees who have worked at Aquafil Asia Pacific for 10 years. To complete our celebration, we all enjoyed lunch together.
