Aquafil Chairman and CEO Giulio Bonazzi recognized at Interior Design’s 4th annual HiP Awards

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Aquafil’s Chairman and CEO Giuio Bonazzi was recognized as an honoree at Interior Design’s 4th annual HiP awards. Mr. Bonazzi was given this honor as a manufacturer leader in sustainability.

Impacting sustainability worldwide from the floor to fashion runways, Giulio Bonazzi, Chairman Aquafil Group & USA, is an innovative leader converting nylon waste into ECONYL® fiber. Regenerating pre- & post-consumer waste, Aquafil was one of the first manufacturers to source fishing nets and other types of nylon 6 waste into recycled nylon creating regenerated carpet and clothing fiber for Levi Strauss, Adidas, Speedo, and others, and inspiring more to follow.

Interior Design’s HiP at NeoCon Awards is a recognition program Honoring Industry People and Innovative Products. This unique initiative honors commercial industry pioneers and achievement in product applications.
