Aquafil USA names Expanding Manufacturer of the Year
Aquafil USA was recognized as the Expanding Manufacturer of the Year at the 75th Annual Celebration of the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber Board of Directors, comprised of 21 elected Chamber members, recognized Aquafil USA for its flourishing business activities and impact on the local economy.
Since the end of 2012, Aquafil USA has created approximately 150 jobs, added a third extrusion tower at the extrusion plant, acquired a new facility and transformed it into a state-of-the-art finishing plant, significantly increased revenues and established itself as one of the premier carpet fiber manufacturers in the industry.
“What an incredible honor to be recognized by our peers for our recent success,” said Franco Rossi, president of Aquafil USA. “We plan to continue to grow and create additional economic benefit to the community that has afforded us the opportunity to experience such prosperity and growth from day one.”
Aquafil USA is currently undergoing a 77,000 square foot expansion at its recently renovated finishing plant. The expansion is expected to be completed in Spring 2015.
