Aquafil USA takes home the gold

Aquafil USA was named the Gold award winner in the “Best Fiber” category in the Best of NeoCon 2014 competition for its sustainable ECONYL® fiber. NeoCon is North America’s largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors and attracts architecture and design professionals from around the world. The Best of NeoCon Awards reinforce Aquafil USA’s position as a leading manufacturer of Nylon 6 products for the residential, commercial and automotive sectors.

ECONYL is an intelligent and sustainable way to create Nylon 6 fibers from waste in a continuous loop production cycle. As part of the process, waste containing high levels of Nylon 6, such as fishing nets, carpets and clothing, is transformed back into raw material without any loss of quality.
