Domo Chemicals evaluates potential sale of its Nylon 6 carpet yarns unit to Aquafil Group

Domo Chemicals and Aquafil have agreed to start exclusive negotiations on the potential sale of Domo Chemicals’ nylon 6 carpet yarn business, known under the brand “Xentrys”, to Aquafil.  Xentrys, located in Leuna, Germany, has a turnover of €50 million and employs 220 people.

This potential transaction supports Domo Chemicals’ strategy to stronger concentrate on global growth of its chemicals, polymer and engineering plastics units.

Aquafil’s main focus now is the continuation of growth and globalization of its BCF and NTF fiber units.
