AquafilCRO to install a rooftop photovoltaic power station

Croatian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy approved the AquafilCRO’s project of a photovoltaic power station worth 2.27 million € with a 1.435 million € subvention.

9.200 photovoltaic modules, which are going cover the Croatian plant’s roof are estimated to produce2.602.192 kWh/year.

The electricity produced by the rooftop photovoltaic system will represent 8,65 % of annual consumption of the plant. However AquafilCRO has been using only green certified electricity since 2014.
